Senior Manager, Ad Ops

Role Overview 

The Ad Operations Manager is a Player/Coach responsible for the accurate and effective fulfillment of digital advertising campaigns. This candidate will contribute to strategic discussions on a variety of subjects including ad operations, customer service, and inventory.  This role also has direct responsibility for ad trafficking, reporting, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

●      Collaborate with Managing Director on product and process improvements
●      Collaborate with the UK Ad Operations team to identify and implement best practices and streamline processes.
●      Manage US Ad Operations team.
●      Monitor and communicate industry developments, inventory trends.
●      Maintain understanding of all Time Out digital products and trends including inventory, benchmarks, and volume projections.
●      Maintain and optimize ad placements for all North American web properties.
●      Collaborate with the Account Management team on campaign schedules and required materials.
●      Provide reporting and analytics feedback during the course of the campaigns to ensure campaign performance, pacing, and final fulfillment.
●      Provide final campaign results and analysis to internal stakeholders
●      Process insertion orders for advertising campaigns.

Skills and Experience

●      3+ years with digital media company
●      Outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to manage and develop many relationships with internal and external contributors
●      Programmatic advertising knowledge, both display and video 
●      Experience working with DFP (experience with Omniture a plus)
●      Strong customer focus – promoting satisfaction resolution and loyalty
●      Ability to work independently and as a member of a close-knit team
●      Assertive and excellent follow-through on detail-oriented tasks
●      Demonstrates flexibility; can re-define role as needed and adapt to change
●      Able to continuously re-evaluate information, plans, and opportunities to improve a solution or process
●      Working knowledge of Java Script and HTML in order to troubleshoot
●      Demonstrates the ability to identify and solve problems quickly, decisively, and independently
●      Must be able to work on multiple projects at once
●      Shares information, cooperates with others, and is comfortable participating as a part of a team
●      Robust Analytics and quantitative skills
●      Excellent verbal and written communication, results and detail oriented; accountable; strong work ethic and proactive self-starter; strong team player who is process oriented and has the ability to multi-task
