About this role

Time Out Australia is looking to expand our Sydney commercial team to sell across our product suite. We are seeking energetic, fun, fearless sales people who live, breathe and love their cities.

The successful applicant will be responsible for our Lifestyle vertical; securing revenue, client growth, managing strategic partnerships and maintaining commercial client relationships across both direct and agency partners. This role requires solid media experience having worked in publishing or media agency roles previously. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and lifestyle sector knowledge are keys to success . The primary tasks include prospecting for new business, managing existing business relationships, exceptional client service and driving the full sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales process to deliver revenue, growth and opportunities
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships across both agency and direct relationships
  • Contribute to the long-term commercial strategy within Time Out
  • Understand Time Out and its audience in order to collaborate with teams across the business to drive revenue potential

Previous experience

  • 3+ years sales and account management experience in the media industry: publisher and media agency preferred
  • A strong track record implementing and executing successful campaigns
  • Existing relationships across the industry: Lifestyle, Hospitality & Alcohol highly regarded
  • An understanding of key sales and digital marketing tools
