Creative Solutions Strategist

Role Summary

This is a key role within the EMEA Sales team helping to drive incremental revenue for Time Out via West End agencies and clients directly. Primarily responsible for the management of partnerships across multiple platforms, this role works in conjunction with the rest of the team,
and other teams in the UK on proposals, pitching, events, trade activity and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the team to build appropriate packages in response to agency briefs.
  • Be responsible, along with the Sales Managers to nurture and grow relationships within agency content and partnership teams.
  • Proactively work closely with the other members of the team to identify sponsorship opportunities and create sales collateral, with an emphasis on creativity and innovation.
  • Work closely with other internal departments including but not exclusively Project Management, Branded Content, Editorial, e-Commerce,
  • Events to ensure integrated and innovative solutions are offered.
  • Oversee the majority of deliverables for booked campaigns, working with the team in order to meet challenging deadlines.
  • Cover & back up on pitches for other Creative Strategists when required.
  • Be present at Time Out brand events in support of live commercial campaigns.
  • Construct presentations and thought leadership pieces based on Time Outs core values.
  • Maintain and build good relationships with agencies through excellent campaign management.
  • Build strong inter-departmental relationships throughout Time Out.
  • Attend internal meetings & presentations where appropriate.
  • Share market/client information internally to help the development of future business.

Skills

  • Will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in content partnerships within media owner or media agency.
  • A strong team player.
  • Ability to manage other people and projects.
  • Ability to construct and sell cross platform campaigns.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects & deliverables.
  • Able to establish and maintain influential relationships, especially within media agencies.
  • Is confident enough to deal with people of all levels, from assistant to MD.
  • Demonstrates a good understanding of client’s business needs.
  • Has accurate attention to detail, is precise.
  • Has a structured and organised mindset.
  • Has the ability to pitch discussions at the right level.
  • Great presentation skills and proficiency in Google Slides.
  • Enthusiastic with a positive outlook.
  • Has strong numeric skills numeracy.
  • Able to work with facts and figures – has a detailed mind.
  • Has great communication skills.

  • Strong contacts across Group M & IPG Partnership teams a big bonus
