Role Overview

The Global CRM & Merchandising team supports all Owned and Operated cities across numerous countries as well as offering support to our vast network of affiliate partners. As a centralised function, the CRM & Merchandising team aim to offer relevant, omni-channel timing communication to customers which aim to convert, retain, reactivate and grow our membership base.

This role will need to primarily co-ordinate with Editors from multiple different cities who supply the content needed for the regular email primarily communication and then use dynamic rules and programmatic logic within our Marketing Cloud to populate the correct content to our customers based on country, city, language, interest and past behaviour.

All communication will also need to ensure an online revenue opportunity (Merchandising) through our ecommerce shop or merchandising partner links.

The role also deals with data segmentation, reporting, member acquisition, weekly dedicated sends for commercial partners and supporting the EMEA CRM & Merchandising Manager in any related activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, build & deploy CRM communications through channels including Email (primary channel), PUSH, SMS, landing pages and Social
  • Responsible for all manual segmentation and reporting
  • Implement e-commerce merchandising/marketing plans
  • Work closely with editorial and commercial stakeholders
  • Support the EMEA CRM & Merchandising Manager in any CRM & Merchandising activity needed
  • Build and manage forms for acquisition such as competitions and gated content

 

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A solutions-oriented team player who is comfortable working in a matrixed organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve when needed
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks, with exceptional time and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines while retaining quality and style necessary.
  • Advanced Excel functions (Pivot tables, Vlookups, data sources etc) experience preferable but not essential
  • Experience in email and content marketing advantageous
  • Knowledge or want to learn basic SQL, HTML & JavaScript
  • Adobe Web analytics experience preferable but not essential 
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience preferable but not essential
